Carey Marine supplied Material Support & Logistics for the primary contractor of this project. It was a complete restoration of the southwest corner of the 79 acre island. It consisted of the creation of an inlet, tidal pond, fishing canals and a one acre shallow water lagoon.
THE MOORINGS AT LANTANA The $3 million contract for the costruction of 1,100 feet of seawall and bulkhead, and included 1,600 feet of poured in place concrete dock and bridge. This luxury condominium has 360 residences and was developed by The Related Group. FANJUL/SCHULMAN DOCKS
These two 130 feet, L-shaped poured in place concrete docks were built simultaneously for Palm Beach neighbors. They were constructed to maximize docking space using techniques such as dredging, dock pilings, dock construction and electrical and dolphin pilings.
MANGROVE ISLAND EXPANSION
Restoration for Mr. Teodore Baum on the island of Palm Beach consisted of dredging and the placement of coral stone around and existing shallow mangrove island to stablize and enhance, allowing for increased mangrove growth and a deep water channel behind the residence to facilitate the dockage of larger vessels.

Directly across the river from lower Manhattan and under the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge, a company owned and operated by Michael Carey built 5 warehouses totaling 350,000 square feet. Current tenants include American Stevedores and the New York Port Authority.
